Giving up can be an option but that's it.
Writing it down, saying how you aren't going to be a club member anymore just because I wasn't there to fully organize everything is definitely childish. I understand you were in charge, but it really hurts to know that you aren't going to pass on the legacy in regards to becoming a club that everybody looks up to. Goodness, Kentwood is our sister school, they just started! Think about what they have to do from scratch and you're over here complaining about a club that has been run for over five years!
